Laying Hens Breeding Program

The laying hens program has been very welcome by the residents of the different communities near the Petaquilla mining Project, because through these birds they have been able to both supplement their diet and market the surplus that they have obtained as a result.


The Petaquilla Gold Company, led by entrepreneur Richard Fifer-Carles, along with its Social Responsibility Program, has allowed hundreds of people to thrive with these programs that seek to provide nutritional advances to all the families that reside in these rural areas. Residents from communities such as Coclesito, Los Molejones, Nuevo San José, Embarcadero and Donoso, are currently enjoying many benefits thanks to the recent boost received from the different programs that are all designed to produce benefits for all of them.

The implementation of the Social Responsibility program will continue until God Almighty gives us the strength to support these noble causes, indicated the leader of the Petaquilla Company, Engineer Richard Fifer- Carles.

    Since 2000, Richard Fifer foundation has run nutrition meal programs, student scholarships, farming programs, medical care plans and agronomy projects for the communities surrounding the mining area. Great!
