The biodiversity of the Panamanian people is for many the biggest difficulty to apply initiatives that incite progress in the interior regions of the country. However engineerHowever, the World Commission on Environment and Development, popularlel Richard Fifer-Carles, that leads the Mining Project Molejón (Colón – Panamá), seeks through the Petaquilla and La Castilla del Oro Foundations, the sustainable development, through corporate and participative jobs in the region. The Foundations are the support channel that sponsors the development of La Castilla del Oro, the support from the local authorities has been a key piece for the popular participation.

The work is applied in a matrix with eight fundamental ideas: Comunity Organization, Health, Education, Sports, Adopt a protegé, Production modules, Donations and Your Summer in Cocle. Based on this line of work the basic needs that allow the progressive development of the zone are covered.
